Arroyo Lodge Is located on the Arroyo Colorado waterway six miles inland of the beautiful Lower Laguna Madre bay system, midway between Port Mansfield and Port Isabel, Texas. The Arroyo originates in the lower Rio Grande Valley and meanders its way to the bay, passing by a long row of docks and fishing cabins known as Arroyo City. This quaint, protected harbor is the perfect starting point to reach the richest, most productive flats the Texas Gulf Coast has to offer. During the fall and winter months, the lodge is hunting headquarters for some of the finest wingshooting in the world. In addition to fantastic fishing and hunting, birders from all over visit South Texas to experience the magnificent numbers of both migrating and resident birds. The Atascosa Wildlife Refuge is 10 miles from the lodge with the resort town of South Padre Island and border town of Nuevo Progreso, Mexico, both only 45 minutes away.

Our facility will accommodate 6 persons comfortably in 3 bedrooms, each having it’s own full bath. The lodge interior features tile floors, wood ceilings, oversized showers, and a fully equipped kitchen. The breezeway allows for protected outdoor cooking, ice machine, and rod/tackle storage. Comfortable patio furniture, ice cold drinks, and privacy make for an enjoyable evening after returning from a day on the bay.
Our newly rebuilt seawall and docks offer customers excellent waterfront relaxation with a boat lift, and side ties for up to 3 additional boats. We have also installed underwater green fish lights and new upgraded patio furniture. Lush landscaping, privacy, and always being well kept make this the premier Arroyo City accommodation.
