A Little History

Since 1989, from his Gruene Outfitters fly shop, Ray Box has provided fly fishing travel for his customers to established fly fishing destinations in the U.S. and abroad. In the fall of 2000, the shop purchased the property that is now known as Arroyo Lodge and totally transformed the 22 year old building from a run down rental, to the showplace it is today. His experience working with first rate lodges and guides has evolved into a friendly and well run facility, whether you are renting, or enjoying one of our full service packages.  Join Ray and the crew for an enjoyable stay in Arroyo City.
